At the Salinas Sports Complex, locals get to attend concerts from today’s top artists and the Salinas Rodeo. Another favorite annually-hosted event is the Salinas Valley Airshow. For nearly 40 years, this show has delighted audiences with flyovers and daring air performances from the world’s most experienced pilots.

Whatever the time of year, there are permanent attractions and outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed in all parts of Salinas. Golfers routinely book their tee times at the scenic 18-hole Crazy Horse Ranch Golf Course. If you prefer an indoor attraction, check out the National Steinbeck Center. This interactive museum is dedicated to the life of revered author and Salinas native John Steinbeck.
