The main attraction in town is Carmel Beach. Unlike many of the cliff and rock-filled beaches nearby, Carmel Beach is covered in gorgeous white sand. This spot is the perfect place to enjoy a laid-back afternoon or catch some waves on your surfboard. Other top area attractions include Mission Trail Park, Carmel Mission Basilica Museum, and Forest Hill Park.
